GeGe & I have an apartment! Well, we'll actually GET it on Monday, but it's a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. We actually went to two apartment complexes...and I think we made the right decision. But I really like the layout of the apartment. It's nice and bright...and quite comfortable enough.

And we bought a queen size bed today...as well as stuff for the "guest" bathroom. I can't believe we are taking this step! Everything else is kind of in the air...we have most of the furniture needed.

I'm actually thinking about persuading him to do a blog with me about our experiences living together...

GeGe got the job! He got the job!

After OVER a month of waiting, he finally heard from the company...and they want to hire him! Out of a HUGE stack of candidates, they chose GeGe! Needless to say, I am quite thrilled & excited!

These next few weeks are going to be very exciting...sort of challenging too.

GeGe graduated last month and has been enjoying his vacation...he spent the past week with me and it was really fun. Sadly, there has been no word yet from the company he used to work for (and is in the same area as me) on whether or not they plan on hiring him. It's become quite stressful. Every day I keep asking him if he's heard from them and I think we're both going a little nuts!

Well after a LOT of thinking and talking, IF GeGe does get the job offer here, we have tentative plans to move in together. My mom has given her blessing (which is all that really matters) and she even encouraged it! We'll see, but we started looking for beds and desks and even sheets. It'll be interesting, though I still do have concerns.

But we've been dating for OVER 4 years! I think we have a lot more stability than most couples, but it'll still be interesting to see.

I'm trying not to plan too far ahead because it'll depend on his job offer...I still want him to get it though!

Well...I've completed working on the scrapbook as my anniversary gift to GeGe...and I think he liked it! Well enough, since he's a guy and they just don't appreciate them the way women do (sentimental?).

I've only got about 20 some rows left in the blanket that I'm making. Hopefully, it will be a large enough blanket to give to GeGe as a college graduate present (I'll post pictures later of everything).

My next project is to make a scrapbook for my mom. We have such an extraordinary and special relationship that I want to capture it...

Well...I came home early on both Thursday and Friday from work...just felt so awful I could barely focus on anything and once I got home I ended up sleeping for 3 hours each day. Yikes. But I do feel slightly better today.

I've finished the scrapbook! At least 99.6% of it! But I am kind of shy about showing it as it's not super fancy...but it's mostly done. I'm planning on presenting it to GeGe on Thanksgiving Day (as that will be our 4 year anniversary).

In the meantime, I'm beginning to go through older photos and move them out of magnetic albums (which are EVIL for scrapbookers as they totally deteriorate precious photographs) and moving them into my Cropper Hopper! This is going to be a several day long project...
